Hello everyone! I have used Safeguard to deworm my flock, but I didn’t get to repeat it 10 days later 😖 due by I family emergency. Would anyone know if I should start over and retreat as if I didn’t treat at all?
Also, my chicken run is pretty large, but I know the chickens are all over it all day 24/7. Is there something I can treat the ground with that would help to kill the parasites but not harm my chickens?

For your first question, I'd just treat them asap for the second time. That's a follow-up dose as the first treatment didn't kill the eggs. The second one kills anything that hatched after your first treatment.

For your second question, most folks use Permethrin powder or garden powder to kill mites and bugs. It's safe for chickens but not for cats for a day or two. You can buy the spray, too, and after it's dried, it's safe for cats.

Permethrin is not intended for use on worms, if that's what specifically you're looking to treat in the run itself. AFAIK there's nothing you can do about worms/worm eggs in the environment itself.
