DH is building me a new coop and said....

Hey , we now have room enough for 2 more chicks! He was the one who said 4 was all I could have. 4 turned into 8 and now 2 more! Went with my nephew to the Stock Shop for his 2 chicks....chicken math set in and he took home 5. I did get 2 more and they are Cuckoo Marans. Nephew got 2 of them as well. They are 2 days old in the photos. (they are 4 days old today)

Ellie is a Cuckoo Marans. She was in the brooder with the rest of her "sisters". The brooder can only be accessed by the employee at the Feed Store. So hopefully, she wasn't put into the wrong brooder.​

I am hoping to add a rooster to mine this year...I definitly will need curtains! Gotta keep him from crowing at 4 when my hubby leaves and wakes everyone up lol.
