All your stories have me convinced that hubby is never again cutting wood without a suit of armor! Or one of those safety knives they use for cutting pumpkins

Might take a little longer to fell a tree, but at least he's safe, right?

Reading all of these horror stories, I am reminded of why I'm afraid of our chainsaw. I'll use our electric hedge trimmers, but if the branch/tree requires a chain saw, I'll just leave it. All of you have reinforced why I feel this way. I didn't even know you were to wear chaps with a chainsaw until one of the staff at our zoo cut his leg trimming without one.

I'm enjoying this thread. Chainsaw is my best friend. We don't drink together however. I have played with the chain brake, but actually using it? I will now. Thanks for posting.
