Does anyone have any experience with this? He thinks that will make it lighter and easier for me to move around. We are planning on a barn shaped coop that will run the length of the run. All aluminum except the hardware cloth. He thinks that will allow him to make it big enough for the number of chickens we want (8) while keeping the weight down enough so that I can move it myself with maybe just a little help from our daughter. Pros/cons? any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It depends. Thick sturdy alluminum is still heavy. Will it have wheels? Skids? If you have a lawn tractor/ riding lawnmower i would just build it on skids and have a sturdy reinforced area in both thr front and back to pull it from.

Our lawn tractor is out of commission at the moment. Thinking of the wheels you lever down and a dolly wheel contraption up front to pull it with. can easily rig that up to tow when our mower is repaired.
