Diapered Ducks

Hello! I am new to owning ducks. I just purchased a Pekin and a Cayuga and they are 2 weeks old. I have taken them to school with me when they were a week old to keep an eye on them (I am an art teacher) and have taken them for rides in my VW Bus, to the beach swimming twice, and a ton out in the yard. At night I want to cuddle with them so they like to be touched. I purchased some diapers off of Etsy from SammySews but they HATE them. I feel horrible putting them on them (only have been able to bring myself to do it 4 times...and take them off after 20 minutes because I feel so bad for them). Any advice on how to train them to not be miserable while wearing them so I can enjoy hanging with them on cold nights and in the home?

Welcome to BYC!

I believe it will just take them awhile to get used to it but it wouldn't hurt to positively reinforce the action with treats.
