I picked up a BR pullet at the Ohio National to go with my Golden Comets. I have her in a seperate cage to get the other 4 hens used to her, and to keep her quarinteened for a while. Well, the short of it is she has had diarrhea since i got her...at first I chalked it up to the stress from transport and the show, then I figured there would be an adjustment period to the food...but she STILL has it. I have not seen one solid stool from this bird. I read up on all the diarrhea associated diseases out there, and she has NO other symptoms...no respitory distress, no blood in the stool, shes not lethargic, good appittie(sp?). I have wormed her and there was nothing, so I'm at a loss for what the problem could be. We also purchased a buff Silkie with her and kept them together during the quarenteen period, but the Silkie is doing fine, ergo, I'm guessing what ever is bothering her is not contagious. Any thoughs or aformations that I'm doing the right things would be appreciated.
