If a chick has trouble hatching, there's usually a reason. Most of the time there is something wrong with the chick that you may not see right away.Ty! Me tooI guess they made it out of the hatch and I thought I was out of the woods but maybe I can expect some problems from help-outs or maybe some chicks in general even if I make my best and they're well taken care of (?) It's my first time taking care of this many chicks. In the past I had like 2 chicken chicks one time, 1 chicken chick some other time, and that's about it. All made it nice and healthy. I didn't hatch them. So that's about my experience with poultry.
Well, I'll keep you posted about this little fella and the rest of the flock, since I know at least a couple more have the same problem and yesterday the number seemed a lot greater. The droppings in general seem to have improved. If a chick has trouble hatching, there's usually a reason. Most of the time there is something wrong with the chick that you may not see right away.
