Diarrhea in 8month steer

What would you do if your 8mo steer started having green runny poops? One steer has it; the other one doesn't.

I'd guess you just switched to grass from hay? A diet change means that they haven't yet developed the gut fauna to deal with the new food. If you have just let them out to pasture, I'd give it a few days to clear up.

If there's been no diet change, I admit to having no idea.

They've been on pasture since we got them in January. I've been giving some hay every day to supplement. The pasture is growing like crazy now, so maybe that's the change?

It's generally enough for my Dad's cows to start having green diarrhea.
