Diarrhea in my 5 week old cornish cross

NY advise would be appreciated! Yesterday I changed their food,from chick starter non medicated to game pellets non medicated. Every once in awhile I would notice a chicken would have brown diarrhea, but now it seems like quite a few of them have it!! I also changed their bedding from pine shavings to straw yesterday!

Have you noticed it continuously with the same bird as well? There is something called cecal poop which is normal. Not saying that's what's going on but in case this describes your issue...

Ummmm....yup. That's what is is.:/. I'm a newbie to chicken raising. Do you have a suggestion on how to get my meat birds to eat pellets!? I changed them from crumbles to pellets yesterday and they didn't notice, but this morning they attacked the feeder and then backed off! Now they are roaming around their pen not eating!

Not to worry, these are eating machines - like teenage boys! They'll chow down once they realize the 'other stuff' isn't coming back.

I seen this was six years ago did you happen to figure out why, if you did please let me know we just got baby chicks only 5 days old and have diarrhea

Are you feeding them chick starter? It's most likely just cecal poop.
