Two weeks ago I bought 6 bantam chicks and one regular chick from the TSC and have been having intermittent appearances of diarrhea -- a softish golden-brownish goo. What could this be and how should I treat? (One bantam chick died suddenly on the first day.) The remaining chicks are starting to show combs and are growing their wing feathers but I really don't know how old they really are. Or what breed or sex. I would welcome any advice on the diarrhea and just figuring out what they are?
Also one chick seems more tired and always is sitting down and appears often by itself. IT does lift up and run around when I startle it and it is eating and drinking. Should I be concerned?
