Diarrhea

Now I always feed my chickens certain scraps from the house. 30 minutes ago I gave them leftover watermelon walked outside to check on them noticed one of them had diarrhea. Could this be from the watermelon?

Hi! If you just gave them a normal portion of watermelon, then there's probably nothing to worry about. I would suggest you keep an eye on them to see if it persists or just goes away, which is likely. Good luck!

Yes, watermelon will give them runnier poops.....so will drinking a lot of water when it's really hot out.
Any hefty portion of fruit can result in that.....and often funny colored too.
