My daughter gave me her four chickens the end of May 2020. They had just started laying. We were getting four eggs a day the first month and it has now taper down to three a day since then. The whole time I've had these chicken one of them has had regular diarrhea. I asked my daughter about it (she is a nurse so she knows everything, right?) She said it was probably stress from the move and would clear up after a week or two. The move was two 3 hour drives over two days. She acts the same as the other chickens, is active, very fast, greedy with food and I see her drink when I take the fresh water in every day. I have given her probiotics for the past month with no change. Her butt feathers were dirty yesteday and her butt was red but not as bad today. How do you clean a chicken butt and how do I cure this diarrhea? Is there more I can do for her or do I call the vet? Thanks everyone.
