Help my 1 year old new hampshire red hen is sick. Symptoms started lastnight. With diarrhea all night(noticed this morning) and she is sitting now in the run by the water drinking a lot and closing her eyes and opening them after a short while. She is all puffed up and seem to be holding her tail up high. I can really notice her breathing as her feathers puff in and out with every breath. She has a history of moles on her eggs. Her vent is not swollen and is a nice pink colour. I can't feel any egg there but I can't rule out egg bound. I gave her antibiotic in her water and fed her some yogurt and Kaopectate(human diarrhea meds) shoudl I wait this out or take her in?
