One of my hens seems to have diarrhea, I can only tell by whats left on her feathers. I feed them table scraps and cracked corn, but they all eat the same stuff so I don't know why its just her. Is there something i could be giving her that would make her better?

Thank you

Cracked corn is not nutritional. It has little nutritional value to it. You might consider switching to a whole balanced feed for your birds. You will help them out a lot if you start feeding a balanced chicken feed. A small amount of corn is alright as a treat as well as table scraps IN MODERATION. But not as a whole diet. You can run into many problems as obesity, vitamin defiency, organ trouble ect. If they are not kept on a more balanced diet. I learned the hard way how important nutrition is for birds when half my flock came down with a vitamin defiency. And I was feeding a store bought layer feed and scratch. I now switched over to a all organic feed and make sure and offer vitamins, probotics, and I limit treats.i cut out the scratch completely. Her dierhea could be a result of diet. You might also consider adding a good probotic.it to add beneficial bacteria into her system to help with the dierhea. Probotics have been a big help when my girls had dierhea. It's cured it right up. So if she were mine, I would try offering a more nutritious feed and try the probotics in her water and see if her dierhea clears up. I think that will really help. I wish you the very best and do hope this post is helpful to you. Good luck and God bless.

I'm not sure the color, I only see whats left on her feathers. It just looks like dirty feathers, that have been wet. I will look for a better food source for them, we were advice by the previous owner of the chickens to do laying mash and cracked corn, but we were only able to find cracked corn. So we just assumed them foraging and us giving them cracked corn and table scraps was fine. Thank you for the advice.
