diarrhoea in chicks?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm still finding my way around the forum. My 2 pekin bantam chicks are around 4 weeks old, they have most of their feathers and are eating chick crumble and drinking well.
The last few days both their poo has been very runny and a red/brown colour and smells more than normal. What could be causing this and what should I do or is it normal?

The red/brown color sounds like droppings from the cecal glands. Adult chickens evacuate these glands a couple of times a week and the droppings resemble what you've described.
