There were a couple of things I read that made frontline sound better than products like ivermectin because ivermectin travels through the blood while frontline is spread through oil glands. I need to research it. We haven't eaten any of the eggs and I don't have my breeding pens set up yet so I haven't hatched any.
I admit I didn't put as much research into it as I normally would before using it. I was desperate to get rid of the mites.
Most of the information out there is personal experience since it's off-label use.
im just doing some research, and speculating a little hoping someone else will step in here who understands better than i do.
frontline plus for dogs contains ethanol. if im not mistaking, that is to aid in skin absorption to make it stystemic? (question more than statement). im trying to figure out its exact process and possible problems, if it works well - and low chance of side effects its will worth recommending.
