DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
DRINKING WATER: Mix contents of this pouch (4 oz.) in 128 gallons of water.
FOR AUTOMATIC PROPORTIONS: Mix contents of this pouch (4 oz.) in one gallon of water to prepare a stock solution. Set the proportioner to deliver one (1) fluid ounce of stock solution per gallon of drinking water. Prepare fresh stock solution daily.
FEED USE: Mix contents of this pouch (4 oz.) per 500 lbs. of complete feed.

This is why you yanks need to get metric

4 oz = 120 grams
128 gallons = 480 litres

120g in 480 liters

1g in 4 liters (1 gallon)

get out that scale you weigh your eggs with. I use it for all medication administration

I just give 1teaspoon in 5 gallons as its close enough with electrolytes

What I dont need for my chicks I just dump in my poultry water supply

I have a interesting story/experiment

I was looking to buy decent priced turkey eggs from my trip next weekend.

I came across a company called Valley Of The Moon Turkeys in WV.

They got back to me with a quote. They sell Broad Breasted and Medium Breasted Turkeys in Bronze Black and Auburn at just over 2 bucks an egg.

Now they are a sister company to Aviagen - a huge supplier of white commercial turkeys.

Enough back story

So I needed the eggs shipped on Monday and they on ship Tuesdays but...

One of their sales person has a shipment leaving Sat from Iowa and arrive in Visalia CA Monday. They will then ship them from there.

It will be all road. The eggs are travelling with commercially shipped eggs that must have a great hatching record or they would not be doing it.

I may set a few on LA as a control.

Well its interesting to me.

You can have some of our heat. In fact, you can have all of it. I'm done.

This isn't a chicken page, but interesting as far as weight loss in the egg

it is possible to increase the evaporation of fluids in the egg through the porous shell by washing the cuticle off the egg. READ HERE suggestions on the Mcaws page
