Which egg the marans I candled? that was a fresh egg not incubatedLooks great on the candling of Maran eggs. I've got to do a few marans also. Can you tell anything on that egg? Hard for me to see anything. I did candle my Delaware's and Rhodes and could see lots of veins and a couple dark spots possibly eyes at the 7th day. (Saturday)

Something (probably one of the foster puppies) got a wild bird in my yard yesterday...Two black wings found in my yard, I hope the bird wasn't sick...that's bad for my biddies.
so my young roos that get along were put in a run aside the big roos, (young above) Wellllllp seems the young boy in the back and his Daddy dont like each other much, they ripped each others combs to shreds through the wire. now I am not sure what to do with this young roo, I may end up processing because he is the most dominant roo I have had and he is young yet. He never came at me, but he is mean to even the hens. so I think I already know what to do : (
