the 2.5 day old eggs are probably the biggest positive - along with people who can hatch an egg.just packed up serama eggs with kiddo, and thinking about air cells and how to prevent weight loss during transport. why should it be any different than storage? I think we missed an important part of shipping eggs. What do we do to those eggs when we ship them in shredded paper, wood chips? DOH! I started totally wrapping eggs in bubble wrap, I dont know if anyone ever read that abstract I posted about storing eggs in plastic bags? well we have sold a ton of eggs lately and even serama, all eggs less than 2.5 days old and everyones hatch rates have been awesome and air cells minimal! I think its due to the complete bubble wrap and all the other procedures we follow. MIND YOU almost all the ppl who bought the eggs are ppl I know from here and FB poultry pages and are very well versed with incubation. anyways, just wanted to share my thoughts
despite the deforming of the whimpy box. the item arrived fully functionalHoly Crud! 62 lbs in a box like that is a mistake to start out with! what the heck!

agree lolThe weight limit on those boxes is 70lbs. I think your shipper was trying to test those limits.
