Who said anything about customs violations

It's quite legal to import eggs into Ireland from the US. You just need some papers. I already looked into it. Just in case I can convince someone to send me some eggs

Once the adoptions are finalized and my beautiful brown babies get Merkan or Aussie passports, I can see a trip across the other pond. Mrs Oz is desperate to go somewhere NOT the tropics and I need to see where my poor convict ancestors stole the loaves of bread that got them transported to Australia.

If you are still looking for eggs in about 2 years, I will bring you a steamer trunk full - and BTW - when I was pulled up by agriculture in Manila airport, I was given a permit for my eggs.

SHIPPED EGGS EXPERIMENT~ I should have video taped this.... BUT I DIDNT because EVERYONE That buys shipped eggs needs to do this....... And dont laugh at me, well go ahead because a chuckle is good for Y'all.....and IT was quite silly and I thought myself funny at first but the results amazed me......If anyone can video tape their procedures that would be most awesome! and more proof for the "records"

I WILL NOT Open discussion until ALMOST EVERYONE of us has done this............

DO THIS IN THE DARK, its all about the candle results............

STEP ONE ~ Get a few days old egg, 3-4 is fine, make sure its not frozen like mine lol......yes you can use bought eggs, but the air cell wont be the same size as shipped but if its your only option, have at it.... results will vary for store eggs and I am assuming BIG TIME.....but we can add it noting the difference.
STEP TWO ~ Candle the egg and if you can see an air cell, mark it with pencil
STEP THREE ~ Shake the egg for just a little
STEP FOUR ~ Candle and note if air cell changed
STEP FIVE ~ REPEAT step three and four UNTIL you have a rolling air cell
STEP SIX ~ SEND ME A PM OF YOUR FINDINGS in much detail, what breed, how many times shook, how much you laughed and a pic of your original air cell marking (so we can compare sizes)

When I have most of our results I will copy and paste them for everyone to discuss openly, I have a new scientific idea of HOW EGGS should be shipped!! Lets see if we all agree in the end......

Btw, what should I chuck eggs for on day 14? If they stink or are wheeping definantly but what else? I already took out the blood rings so that's not an issue...

2 Years? I can't wait that long, I'm too broody! LOL But jokes aside I'm looking for certain eggs and the pickings are not so good here... I'm willing to pay all expenses etc for eggs as long as they arrive in good enough condition to get some sort-of hatch rate. Basically if I get 4-5 live chicks out of it I'll be happy.

I'm in. Got lots of eggs to play with. How fresh must it be? I mean shipped eggs are going to be a few days old by the time they arrive etc. You get where I'm going? A fresh, fresh egg hasn't got much of an air sac. I've got some couple-a-day old eggs hanging around, so shall I use one of them?

I'll find the import egg req info and send you the link. If I remember correctly now you need a vet to examine the hens that lays the eggs etc... I'll send you the info. then you decide if you want to do this. PM?
