i love duckies.... my baby has gotten so big since halloween .. he has to have a full tub to bathe and play in now instead of a quarter or half.... come spring supplies is gonna be out with mom anddad but i have enjoyed having him in for now .... hes my only surviving hatchling of any kind this past year .... and he is certainly cute bt a messy boy !!! I say boy still not 100% sure on that

What kind of ducks do you have? My ducklings were super messy.. ah and still are.. lol.. I hatched some last year out of a dozen four made it to hatch and had three survivors. Two being Pekin's were easy to sex once they started quacking.. as it's more obvious then.. The Rouen was once she got her grown up feathers.. So two girls and one boy who I think spent too much time on his head while in the egg as he's a bit special..

What kind of ducks do you have?  My ducklings were super messy.. ah and still are..  lol..   I hatched some last year out of a dozen four made it to hatch and had three survivors.  Two being Pekin's were easy to sex once they started quacking..  as it's more obvious then..  The Rouen was once she got her grown up feathers..    So two girls and one boy who I think spent too much time on his head while in the egg as he's a bit special..

My pekin pair ...daffy (drake) is fairly quiet but quacks, daisy is loud and obscenely vocal...pushes poor daffy around.

She was a little uncooperative with pictures tonight...I couldn't get her off my arm.

I now have 3 Pekings counting the lone hatch- Supplies -that made it and one lonely mallard girl (lost her mate to a possum attack) well see its not exactly quaking it does an in between kinda thing .. and its mom is a female Peking that quacks occasionally too for some reason ... but I know mom is a she cause she lays very well lol

Well with mine the girls started quacking way before he did.. he would do this peep chirp and didn't start quacking till a few months later.. then he got his drake feather so it made it official. lol
