I like the 250 heat lamps. But I just use them for chicks. My older chickens just have to be tough. They all got sopping wet in the rain today. And it's so cold already.

Hmm, talking of heat lamps... I'm going to need one of those. And DH just dragged home a beautiful plastic tub with "brooder" written all over it. It's perfect! Then he told me I can't have it. Well, in that case, he can go buy another one.

Our 4th wedding anniversary is on Sunday, took him awhile to figure it out

Oh, would one of you remind me on Sunday? We both forgot our other anniversary (7 years together on 7 Nov)

too funny! You know I dont even know our aniversary dates! I know its 13 years together and so many married LMAO!! ooopss too many kids and chickens filling the brains!!

O.K. now I feel better! LOL DH for a long time couldn't remember our son's birthday. He said it's the 21st, when it was actually the 20th. I told him I was the one on drugs when it happened. I should be confused, not him!

I have not kept up. Bator is running and locking down this afternoon. I have 2+ doz going in after these guys hatch. Then after that I am going to attempt shipped eggs for someone else. I have tried to talk her out of it but she wants to try it anyway. Getting eggs shipped from WI to OK in the middle of winter. Not the best idea but I am rolling with it.

Hello stranger! I'm shopping for an incubator myself. We're going to have to move to a place with more land if I keep this up. Hatching addicts...

Sally, looks like someone told my gals about your experiment! I just got my first egg in almost 4 months this morning! It's a tiny pullet egg from my RIR/BO cross, her first ever.

I will wait for them to get a touch bigger and maybe my other ladies will decide to donate soon too.
