awwwwww look how freakin cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! I soooo breed the wrong dogs! I love her! and the show girl!! I am surprised she is pink neck and not black? awesomeness

Thanks I'm so in love with him and his sister ! I'm very tempted to keep his sister unfixed and have a litter but then I remember what a yard with 11 very large puppy's looked like and I think i'll stick with doing one more litter of corgis instead lol . Pink for now her breeder said it will probably darken up as she ages

I'm back. So I am behind 3,000 posts....lol. I am not going to even attempt to catch up. Update on my end. I just hatched out 27/28 of my own BR eggs. My GSBR/Blue Plymouth rock eggs all hatched (20/20.) My production BR only 7/8. Still an excellent hatch!!! I have 56 eggs set for he Easter hatch-a-long and have 4 boxes at the post office waiting for me (50 more eggs.) I really have to stay away from the Paypal Swap....soooo addicting. I keep finding breeds I really like. As you can tell by my signature I have more than enough chickens but my chicken math class isn't over yet.

Not too much going on here chicken wise. Shae is starting the last session of junior master gardener. I have 7 quail eggs, 24 polish, 6 BLRW, 6 black Austrolorps, 8 Ancona ducks, and a handful of OE/EE in the incubator - we'll see what hatches.

i see lots of breeds but not many actual chickens. chicken math is awesome.

Oh, I just read about symptoms on what was wrong with Bella, and I think it is omphalitis. By reading your article, I think that there is not much hope for him. Can the other chicks get it? I think they already have too. One or both (can't remember) both have blackish blueish navel areas.

YAY BROOKS!!! LOL its only 3,000! Your always in the swap! I am glad I still dont understand it! DH would kill me! whats at the PO? and we need pics of they dont exist!

I confess I did not candle on days 10 or 14 either
I confess I could only see in 2 silkie eggs
I confess I have an internal pip
I confess I have a few of THE wackiest air cells EVER
I confess I didn't even bother marking air cells
I confess I am incubating on sniff tests
I confess I am an idiot

Sally, anyone remember? Im pretty sure I told you I set duck eggs, didn't I? I can't remember! In my defence I had such a crap fortnight I forgot to eat some days. An incubator tucked away in a cupboard in the spare bedroom...

YAY Sara! Hey everyone Sara is the kind gal local to me that gifted me the ancona duck eggs! She sells them! She also has gotten addicted to hatching! jr Master! How cool!
what kind of quail did you set then? DH and I are tossing around the jumbos but not until spring/summer. When is everything due? any in lockdown for us to hatch this week?
I need another girl ancona! are you going to sex them this time?
