Need help. I have a chick that has straddle feet but the problem is it still can't walk with bandaids holding it's feet in. It's legs don't go underneath it and it sits on it's butt with feet straight out. . I'm giving it water and it seems okay otherwise. Help!!!!! When I put it in a cup it's legs don't go under it. They are still straight up out of the cup and it's on it's butt.

I'm happy to report chick is walking some with bandaid braces on his legs. . We'll see how it works in the long run.

I have four out with at least two to go. I lost two, one drowned as it tried to zip while I was at work. One zipped but a hatchling hit it's egg and I guess couldn't get out and died overnight. . There are more eggs so we'll see.

I didnt know about the niacin and ducks..always love learning new stuff here ....my MIL just got us two new duckies so will tell them to make sure and do this !!!!

Harmony did well! she had one dead in the bunch, the rest are showing life to hatching!
We had 24 eggs shipped from CPL and about 6 of our own to start, therefore I am seriosly impressed with this shipped hatch!
CPL packed those eggs AWESOME and added heat packs, I think the difference with this batch was the fact that they were double boxed
and the boxes were LARGE and she had those big huge bubbles in the outer box with the heat packs, which I am sure took
most of the road jostling away! It probably is an expensive way to ship, but in the end I would think well worth paying extra
to have them packaged good!

His name is humpty dumpty. his egg was dropped and really cracked up but survived incubation and hatched. There needs to be a photo comp with a story
