I love this! haha My mom is an accountant.
I hope you figure it out! glad gos has company!! YAY Glad your back with us!!Sorry guys, I was gone all day. I had to wake up at 3:30 am to get ready for a poultry swap.
Duck update: I haven't had time to do anything yet, but I gave one of the worst ones to a friend to check out. She soaked the duck's feet at noon and used antibiotics and she said the feet are already looking a lot better. It's not bumble foot, so I haven't idea what it is. I guess I do what she did to the rest of the ducks and hope for the best.
The duckling that had the niacin deficiency still has no use of her left leg. We're making a brace for her tomorrow to see if it will help her get around.
Gosling update: I couldn't find any goslings at the swap, but there were some 2 week old white runner ducklings. I bought one of the ducklings and named the little guy "Aflack". Aflack had imprinted on me within 2 hours of the purchase and all I did was snuggle him in my neck. Well anyways, I put the little guy in with Goosey and they are the best of friends. They are doing great. Now Goosey isn't so lonely, and I have 2 adorable imprinted birds that would to anything to snuggle with me.
By the way, for anyone who doesn't know, "Aflack" is the duck from the insurance commercials.
i am going to have a crappy hatch rate - about 30% if i am really lucky - but i dont actually mind, i did it to help understand shipped eggs and basically how many i need of a breed to start a viable breeding program for that breed in the philippines.Oz, I'm glad that you're feeling better and I hope that you have a great hatch rate!![]()
That's how my mean guy Rodney does it. He side dances and claws!!how can you tell they are gonna do it? do they do that sideways dance like they do to hens or do they just run and attack or what?
