Thank you. I am really doubting I will. It is a very long story but 90% of the eggs in the incubator are at least 10 days old due to shipping problems. They are hard to candle as they are olive eggers but so far I am not seeing anything going on anymore. Ha, I have stared so hard at them I think I start imagining things going on in them but then I blink. If we do get any, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Hello! Sally and Sumi invited me to join this lovely thread. Looks like a fun bunch!
I am a Mom with 2 kids, 7 hens, and live in the country. I just had my first hatch, and between LOTS of shipping problems and 1 successful and 1 not so sucessful assisted hatch, I have a learned a ton in the last few weeks, even if I still feel clueless. We got 6 baby chicks last week and had 1 special guy hatch today (it was the lone survivor of 15 smashed eggs). We have a accidental staggered hatching going on still and they are due this Friday and then next Friday. Anyway, I just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself!

No crowns just a tiara, I am too lazy, was enough with that one, taking pics was not good, chickens dont like stuff on their heads mind you! NOT AT ALLLLLLLL!!! Princess Diana had quite a few scoldings let me tell ya!

The easter hatchalong is going on so alot of people have chicks hatching this weekend, including us! YAY!!!
