Hmm I wonder if it is the full moon. It seems to be making my kids crazy too.

I just quickly caught up. I missed a lot. I just got 19 beautiful intact black orps eggs. They are settling and I did not see a single broken aircell. Plenty movers and several that are very saddle shaped already. Setting them with some of my buffs so the turner will be full. Since they looked so good will probably set tonight.

Well my one that piped at 11pm last night just hatched.

My 2.5 yr old daughter sang Happy Birthday to it as it hatched. HaHa, so cute! Meanwhile vertical zipper has made no more progress. Sumi, I think God is giving me every scenario there is! Haha, Sally, if it is the moon remind me to not plan anymore hatching around a full moon. Watching backwards pippers is exhausting!

Backwards guy pipped at 9pm, made its small 3/4 of an inch zip progress through the night 3am-6:30am (I know because I checked on it while I was up with my real babies last night) And it has made no more progress in the last 4 hours. How long should I wait before starting a slIf y assist?

How many pips do you have? If you open the bator you take the chance of dropping the humidity which could compromise everyone else. As long as she is breathing and moving around let her keep working.

I checked the bator this morning and humidity dropped to 26%.

Thought surely the wells were dry! Nope, there's a container of water in there too! I stuffed it with wet washcloths! This hatch is driving me insane......or is it the full moon?

Caffeine overload is not possible.

3rd cup of coffee. In my defense I got a late start with getting kids to school, morning assembly, and stopping at the post office, running the vacuum, mopping, checking BYC, and collecting eggs. I think this day calls for a 2nd pot of coffee.

What day are you on? As long as that is not lock down humidity it will be fine.

I only had one cup of java and I have a headache! DH sets my coffee for me everynight, but this am he only sent one cup in the pot! And NO I am a terrible coffee maker so I don't bother LOL.
