Love and support will get her through.  It can be tough at times.  I've got Asperger's, not diagnosed until later in life.  It was a nightmare growing up with everyone thinking I was just not that bright.  They didn't have a name for it.  It's not that, our brains just work differently.

you guys are definitely turning me off ducks.

If i get these pekins to hatch, I will be putting their progeny under broody scovies and then let luck take its course.

My 2 muscovy hens have 36 eggs between them. We should have ugly wart faced ducklings in a few weeks. Cant wait to put the males in the oven though. yum. muscovy is like nice veal.

My pekins before did fine ... the only prob with these that i just took out were none were fertile which was honestly kind of expected ....
and baby ducks are just so so cute !!! I cant wait til i can start some mallard eggs too !! although i have heard frequently that call ducks are not an easy hatch ...

now all you chatty east coasters are asleep, I am reading each and every post.

if you used a credit card (or debit card) tell the seller you will dispute the charge.

the bank will issue you a refund - then debit the sellers account. The seller then has the onus to prove that what they sold you met what it should have been. Its a nightmare to the seller and if a few people do it, they will lose their ability to do ecommerce through visa, mc, or amex. Paypal does something similar as they try to compete with the big boys outside of their parent ebay.
