Thats one way to put it I had a dog like this. His name was BUDDIE. this breed is a Hairy HAIRLESS CHINESE CRESTED. they also do a hairless and a POWDERPUFF. lol That's a cute one. Some are very ugly. OOOPS, day late and a dollar short again.........he he he he he

I used to do that with my chicks when I knew they were dying. I sit and hold them until they're gone. It's hard for me, but I feel it's something I should do for them, you know?
You did what you could for that little one. Focus on the living now. They need you too!

I learned SO MUCH through this experience, my first ever hatch project, so hopefully things will go smoother in the future, and I'm also thinking about how I can improve the foam bator situation... I'm going to try a batch of Fr. BCM's later this week. Hope this isn't too ambitious for a newbie, but I'll do my reading and ask the seller a ton of questions. Thankfully she's within driving distance so NO SHIPPING. I paid a lot of $$ for eggs shipped from San Diego to VT, which I now know was a big mistake, but I had to have them.

Okay skipping 5 pages. Well bad news came home yesterday and my chick had died. I think if i woukd have been home I could have saved it. But have to work.
