Sally, she was stuck for nearly 20 hours... I made what I can only describe as a "chickie jump-up" for her and have had her in it for most of the afternoon. After about an hour in it, she already seemed to be able to stay upright a bit better. I tried taking her out and putting her in a playpen like the article said, but she would just lay on her back with her feet propped up. I can't leave her in the jump up when I am not here, so I will put her back in the playpen for the night. She did eat a bit and I have given her a little water. I'll make sure to give her more water before I leave tonight. I would take her home, but my kids have dog training after work, so I'm not going home, and I don't think I can take her to the club with me... Too many dogs that would try to eat her!!

I did cut a hole for her too poop out of after this picture was taken...

This was her after an hour of being in her little sling. It didn't last long and she was back to falling over.

Her sisters cuddling with her...

hopefully your chick jump up does the trick. If you have any Save-A-Chick try giving her some. The vitamin electrolytes might give her the pep she needs to keep her feet under her.

Quote: I know I haven't gotten a lot of the eggs from NYhatch and I was looking at swap pages and I seen how many eggs these people owe! why on earth keep doing this if they don't send eggs? I would never want all those eggs hanging over my head! seriously!
What's even worse is they are also swapping on FB, Don't get it. I owe a few eggs yet and that's only because (1) my birds weren't laying and two you can spend a lot in shipping, so I'm only trying to send out a couple a week, mine are for NYD hatch. I don't think I owe you eggs, do I? I mailed out 3 sets and it cost 27$ doesn't seem like a lot, but when you are low on funds, it is a lot.

I love it, she does look tired, it is cute that the others are snuggling with it

That is too cute, it looks like a jolly jumper!
Hey I was wondering if there's a way to give a BYCer good feedback? I bought some eggs and all but 2 were inferts and she's checking fertility and then replacing them plus a couple extras. She has been so nice and helpful and just want her to get some props for it!
