Oh my goodness these have to be the most touching pictures ever!  your doing awesome, you cant keep this up later on? oh that stinks bad, it sounds like its working.

Maybe I'll try to drive back to work after dog training and pick them up and bring them home... My vitamins and electrolytes are at home, too.

I just read the top of the original post with the pics and that is the word I was looking for in my foggy brain....jolly jump up! I haven't thought about one of those since my 10 yr old loved hers, my last 2 kids didn't like em. That is really simple but genius!

I've dipped my toes in the water with the monthly mystery swap. Hopefully everyone gets something. I've always done forum christmas swaps in the past and it seems like almost half the people never get anything, so there were a few of us who would scramble around to send them something so no feelings were hurt. I very much enjoy sending goodies to people, makes me happy.

I don't have eggs to send, but homemade and gardening items sound like just as much fun.

Hubby named the chicks. We've got Dumpling, Rosemary, and Rondelet.

He's so original. Of course, if any are roos they're going to new homes, or will be joining the bunnies at Camp Kenmore.

Those swaps look like a lot of fun.  Good thing I don't have egg layers yet, or I'd probably be in the middle of it.

I can sort of feel the pain.  I bought some ebay preorder turkey eggs off a guy here on the forum back in December.  Yeah, still waiting for eggs while I'm watching other people on the turkey threads who have had hens laying eggs for the last couple months.  If he decides to send nothing, I have no recourse.  Well, not none I guess.  His name will be plastered all over another huge forum I frequent as a guy who takes money and doesn't send eggs.  >

I'm in a similar situation....I preordered 6 eggs from a guy on BYC that had posted an ad in the buy sell trade and said I should get them by the end of march, then it was April then it was by the 8th of this month. I just sent him a pm yesterday, I've asked him to keep me posted but I always have to pm and email him several times to even get an answer. He said its been snowing there and his girls just started laying more frequently a couple weeks ago I told him I would rather him be sure of fertility than rush it but now the 8th has come and gone. I really hope he's being honest but the other thing is I asked if I could do PayPal and he said yes but could I pay as "debt owed" so he wouldn't have to pay fees. I told him no that I would pay the fees and then he said it was fine I could just pay PayPal regularly without paying his fee. So I guess if he tries to not send them I could do a dispute with PayPal right? And I will also run him through the ringer on BYC!

Upside down weirdo chick has now decided that i was getting to relaxed and randomly runs backwards every now and again mostly when he drinks water, honestly i dont mean this in a cruel way but im starting to consider that he's brain damaged :/ he still isnt very co-ordinated and does his panic wheres mommy cheep when im right there?? And sometimes acts like hes blind and cant see where the food bowl is? the other chick is acting completely normal except for trying to peck his brothers eyes out once

I took the other chick from her put in the brooder with the others she almost murdered and threw her back in the dungeon with the roo and the other broody. May the best CHICKEN WIN!
