Little chicky that I bathed this morning and put the Betadine on the navel is doing great. I had 19 out of 22 eggs hatch. This is the same bator that had the ducks hatch 4 days early. So I feel very fortunate.

On another note, I have some very expensive shipped eggs on day 20 and no pips. I have another set on day 19.

It's not looking good. I see no movement and not hearing peeps. I changed batteries in my candler and candled a few. I closed the lid back down.

I'm hearing peeps in day 19 bator.

I will, Oz. Promise! Just having a lot going on here, it's been a crazy week as I said and it's far from over. I will explain all soon. Just bear with me a bit longer?

What have you been up to? I've completely lost the storyline with all your adventures. You must write a book about it all one day.

Whatever is holding you back - hang in there. We all have lives outside the BYC world - take your time

My adventure is madness. I am non-stop between work and the Philippines. I am off again in 5 weeks. Its a long read!

What kinda fish ya gonna get ?
The kids got a few neon tetra, some wag platys and a rainbow shark. Kid fish,

I don't have "big kid" fish tanks anymore, we sold all of ours when we sold the big house. no room here.
So we have a tropical tank and a another guppy tank, my fav tank, no work to it! Lotta babes and life in a guppy tank!

OMGOSH.... I need HELPPPPPPPPPP, I opened my cabinet incubator to add water and and turn eggs before locking down some Muscovy's and a **** egg exploded the minute pulled out the tray, I'm not talking a leak, it

, now the help part and I don't see Sally around. I removed the tray and noticed that there was a lot of pipping action going on, I removed the gross tray, cleaned up the bottom as best as can be, without adding to much disinfect. Will they be alright, I have never hatched ducks before and they are not mine. What should I do. My incubation area smells like someone died in it. HELPPPPPPPP
oh Mich! all you can do is clean it the best you can at this point! awwww do you have another bator you can set up and clean and put the eggs in the fresh one?
I will remind you how tough HEALTHY chicks in the shell are after my episode of frozen hatching eggs on hatch day from the broody! they are a lot tougher than we think!
I will go find it and post that story again. don't fret either, humidity can always be kept up with a mister on the sides or top of the bator just not on eggs!

Floppy and Huntchback Frozen egg chickies Update.....

Floppy hasn't flopped since about 2 pm today YAY!! I will take the foot pad off tomorrow and see if toes stay straight. Eating drinking and being a great chick.

Hunchback is fine, but should be named crooked neck as the neck isn't drooped she moves it fine when she wants to but she always goes back to that tuck side position. weird.
I hold her and make her look the otherway and she does it fine and even will fall asleep in my hands like so.

CAPTION THIS!
