They're adorable!

I went to see the 9 hatched a few weeks ago today and I couldn't believe how they've grown! And they were thrilled to bits to see me! I didn't think they'd remember me, to be honest. I expected them to run off, but no, they got all exited and when I stuck my hand into the brooder they all came over and started nibbling it LOL I took some pics of them and I'll upload them later when I put them on the computer.

Oh no!!!!! I am officially addicted to duckie babies!!!

what an amazing story too, I am so happy you have been well looked after too. You should draw the basic design that's in your head and post it in a frame so the kids are also aware of it and may have a hand at drawing it!

No notes just fooled myself into believing that I could remember where everything was

I did put hatching 101 where I could easily find it though.

I'm getting a couple dozen wheaton ameraucanas project eggs and not counting my chickens before they hatch!

I'm not new to hatching but it's been a couple of years so reading your thread was a refresher course with the addition of some new stuff thrown in ..very fun!

The really nice person that I bought them from was very willing to work with me on packing methods. Lots of bubble wrap and double boxed.

I am so happy they are working with you! AWESOME!!

didn't plan on being my own emergency! LOL...FYI to anyone trying to steam clear an egg bound hen...do it on the floor ! or you too can visit the urgent care with a horrendous 1st degree burn...feels like someone lit a match to my leg!
Ouch!!! I would also advise not to sit very close to a fire place in the winter.... I caught on fire once and it wasn't fun xD
Right I've got this poorly chick. I had to assist. Thanks to all of you guys I followed everything you all write on here. Thanks Now it's very poorly. It hatched yesterday here at around 10 pm it popped out on its own. Anyways it was very small but it has big eyes and started to open them today a little. It chirps a lot and only tonight around now its started to try and stand up. Thing is it can't lift it's head and its crop is towards the side of its neck. The rest of it looks normal apart from a kink it's head makes it curl in. Although he is trying to straighten and stand. Here is some pics I can show video if you want to see.

This should show the crop I have started giving it a little yolk and it is taking it. And since I started it is starting to try more. Coincidence maybe. What do you all think. Any chances or shall I find the magic sleep formula ?? Carbon dioxide in a sealed container! Thanks Kat
