It shouldn't and I don't think angle matters until after the wait period, but I could be wrong! I always set them flat and let them go until turning begins, that make sense or did I not read that right? lol

yes that answers my question, I just wanted to know if it was ok to set flat until I start turning but what do you mean about angle doesn't matter until after the wait period? Also if I have some bad rolling air cells is 48hrs long enough to wait before turning in the bator or should I wait even longer?

OMG that would be hilarious!! There is Dustyn in full modern safety equipment and climbing gear and Bernie monkeyin up the tree with a rope! ha ha ha That would be hysterical!!

he probably would not even use the rope. They scale 100ft coconut trees with hands and bare feet. I bought him a harness but he only uses it if I am around or if its "particularly" windy

Like I said before, I am trying new ways, I only settle the eggs before setting them and place in a carton and I turn GENTLE by tilting the carton from the time of set 3x a day. I have had 2 success with doing this so far. but again GENTLY tilting the entire carton. and not rolling them during candle either. just hold flashlight on the top and peer in.

Yeah.. I did some research on it. It sounds like a restricted diet and lots of foraging and exercise can lead to them having a decent life, but even so, only about 4 years. That's OK though. At least I can make the little life she has enjoyable.
