Dad says no. Unmedicated for everything other than chickens is the rule he goes by and this has been his hobby since he retired 20 years agohey Wax can I feed the turkey the medicated chick crumbles at first?

Woke up to 51%. Silly, but I was excited to finally see moisture on the window. Official count 5 water containers and 2 loose dish towels. Bator looks ridiculous!heading to bed. Hope Gardening got her humidity up.
What, did you slip 'em a valium to get them to line up so neatly??
Awwww!! Love them, Sally!
I'm officially a worry wart!MICH UPDATE!!!!!
WAX~ what do I need to blow out eggs? Harmony wants to give it a try! do you just dry them or do you have to dip them in something to make them harder or do they stay soft?
Quote: Hmmmm. Good to know.
On another note. Arent hatch days exciting? LOL
Thats a cutie. I doubt the coils bother him one bit. (or her)

I'm officially a worry wart!Woke up to a couple different eggs peeping, but no pips. Immediately I start to worry, where are the pips? They are too loud to not have pips!!!! I seriously need a head check.....and a valium!![]()
On a different note: I swear yesterday was a day I regretted having birds! Ever have one of those days?? Worrying about the bator, worrying about the lonely chick, discovered my one pen of roos that were supposed to go to auction Friday have Cocci., Got my 3 new Call ducklings, and the ones I had only 1 week older are terrorizing them. Had to separate for now, 'till the itty bittys can hold their own. Then 2 of my free rang roos that have never paid any attention to eachother decide it's rooster showdown time, so I'm sitting there beating them both with a rake. All I can say is " Something Great Must Be Getting Ready To Happen!"![]()
I know. At least I have these duckies to look forward to. My girls were 8 weeks old. I had a teeny-tiny OEGB pullet, I loved her so much. My favorite chick I ever had. 2 white Leghorn pullets, and one that I hatched myself, a Maran cross.Geez! SO sad. I'm glad you got your duckies on the way. How old were your pullets?
