Quote: OMG Sarah!

Hey I lucked out! there was a loner silkie in the bator and its blue so the other sara will still have at least 2 chicks! YAY please pray for the Toulbont polish eggs I sooo want to give her those chicks for breeding! I wish I could offer you eggs! I don't have crap, silkie are so weird with laying they are annoying me! But I started saving some, so you can have whatever I collect till you come! about the only thing that lays good are buttons and serama, of which I have no roos grown to make the eggs fertile anymore since Pine Cone is gone! Spitz are too young and I had to buy roos because they are all hens! Now when I don't want roos I have roos! 2 OE's for now! Chad said he will take them to market if it gets so hot again, with DH surgery tomorrow, I think its a good idea, although I have no doubt I could tackle it alone now, but the kids are the issue! I DO NOT like them underfoot, I swear they thoroughly enjoyed that processing day and will never shut up about it! The ducks are only due for lockdown on Monday!

*squeal*!!

HAHAHA. That brings me up to 70 chickens now. Wife said "PLEASE, NO MORE!!!"

Not counting the 12 in the bator, which we'll just have to see tomorrow. Candle time at day 7.

Quote: Mr Hodges you stop that this instant! I am trying to hide the turkey from DH!
that didn't work, he woke me up this morning with a kiss and "hunny those big birds in the bator are too big for it they cant even stand up, and next time you want to get turkeys you may NOT get them ok? love you bye"

DOLP!

On a different note: I swear yesterday was a day I regretted having birds! Ever have one of those days?? Worrying about the bator, worrying about the lonely chick, discovered my one pen of roos that were supposed to go to auction Friday have Cocci., Got my 3 new Call ducklings, and the ones I had only 1 week older are terrorizing them. Had to separate for now, 'till the itty bittys can hold their own. Then 2 of my free rang roos that have never paid any attention to eachother decide it's rooster showdown time, so I'm sitting there beating them both with a rake. All I can say is " Something Great Must Be Getting Ready To Happen!"

Mich what day was set day? I swore you set before me! I don't like your bator, you need a cooler bator! you need to order all the stuff and come up when sarasweatman does and we can help you make them!

So I am told that poults are dumb and need chicks to teach them to eat and drink, so is the game bird starter ok for my chicks??? I am confused!

Picked up my Heritage Dellies from the USPS this morning. All 26 alive and running around like crazy. No paste butt or anything. The 2 week old GLW's don't know what to think of them. The bigger birds running for there life.

Tried to put the Wyandottes outside yesterday with the 2-3 month olds. But that didn't work very well. Maybe if I left them there longer they would have gotten better. But decide to take them back in.

I hope your hens toe gets better! I was going to say how I love the new avy Tony!
HOW SWEET they are!!!!!!! awwwww

FF = it will stink when you stir it. Like a druken sailor. but I take off the top and then add hot water and replace with feed and it goes away a bit!
