Serama egg day 3! On further checking all 4 serama eggs are veining, but this is the furthest along.
4 for sure silkies, 2 probably, and 2 look odd. So I don't know yet. Man these are super easy to see into! WOOT!

I may not be taking my two OE roos to auction or processing! (DH just had surgery and will be down for a month or two so I am not doing it alone with children, no no no) Anyways, I listed them free on CL and a guy emailed he wants roos for his 12 hens! I hope he gets them as they are spoiled boys and very friendly too!

GONE GONE GONE!! and three silkie chicks! YAY!! Saved the roos!!

Just moved these 15 to the brooder. They went after the feed immediately. Healthy batch.

I love them Doug! and you crack me up!!! I love the spots on the heads!

I actually got to shut down my hatcher for awhile, I'm going to take this chance to disinfect it. I don't think I'll be able to shut the incubator down until July.

The 2 new chicks and the chick that still hasn't hatched.
It has been more than 24 hours since I realized it was pipped at all. This picture is from thismorning. Not much change. She is still alive. Do I begin helping, or let her be since she has air? Please expand it, and tell me if you want another (better) picture to show the hole. ANYONE that can answer me, please respond.

Well, Ive got 29 hatched out of 34 that went into lockdown. 5 eggs left with no pips and I didn't see any movement or internal pips. Im going to check after dark when I can see better.
