and I was thinking santa claus needs to stop eating coockies and start eating iron pils.

Today @4pm started day 22 if my incubation. This is the only egg that has pipped so far and it's been this way since about 9am this morning.Good movement in the egg and heard chirping. Did have issues with my temp fluctuating so maybe they are just gonna be late? Also saw a few other eggs rocking in the incubator about 20mins ago. Help!! It's so hard to just sit by and watch! When should I start to worry?

I feel so behind. I just got breeding pens up yesterday. Now I need to wait a couple more weeks before hatching.

I'm so tempted to throw mixed eggs into the incubator, but I really shouldn't....

you must have run a tad too low on temps, day 21 is an estimate, I run warmer so usually hatch day 20 and some 21.

what time did you post this pic? remember to BREATH read the process at the links in my siggy, as to what they are doing in there! it will ease your mind a bit, ok maybe not but it will keep your mind off of worry!

I posted it today at 4. Egg is still the exact same as earlier, no changes. Still moving around but has yet to break through the membrane of the egg. Could it still be absorbing the yolk sack? Also does it look like it piped in the right position? It's been so long since I've hatched I forgot how nerve wracking the process is!!! Should I worry if there is no change by the morning?
