I am not sure what to tell you, I dont mess with any eggs until after most have hatched, because I have done more damage thinking I can save an un internally pipped chick than not....  Its still a 75% loss in these attempts with me. :(  sorry!  in the assist article, start study the positions of malpositions and anatomy just in case.

I'm just going to let them do their thing. As long as I see movement in the egg and rocking ill continue to hope for the best. If nothing has changed by Friday, which is more than enough time, ill pull all eggs and set others. I kept a log book so maybe I'll try and bump temp up a little and see what the outcome may be!

Quote: I agree with Oz what goes in the bator is what you determine.... there was just an argument on FB rare breeds groups about that! Professor Bramwell stepped in for a few posts and explained thats how you get your figures, not I HAD A 95% hatch after we pulled clears.

and Nikki I am not knocking you on that at all, I only read yours after I posted..... Its used as a uninformed sales pitch is what Professor Bramwell was getting at.... and you see it all the time! As a man who does the clinical trials and studies I listen when he talks but am VERY guilty of thinking that it is possible for us small backyard hatchers who have all hands on deck, and knowing EVERY ONE OF OUR HENS AND ROOS health history that we CAN in FACT get a better hatch rate than the 75% he says is the normal.

ADDING in EDIT: The hatchers that have experience and have studied some on incubating and have a good hold on it. ;)
