My first batch of shipped eggs have been shipped... Please do not turn into eggcicles & please beat the winter storm headed our way!

On another note, in the winter, those who dry-hatch... Do you have a humidifier running? I'm not sure what my humidity is in my house but I had much better luck dry-hatching in my previous housing (this past fall).

leave your hygrometer on the table where your incubator is and get its reading :) I only run my dehumid in the summer. You know where th Hatching 101 article is, make sure your calibrated, understand ventilation, Temps for fan vs no fan, shipped eggs treatment, and to use humidity only as a tool. Weighing eggs (or trays of eggs (see article) is the best to achieve a great hatch (as far as shipped eggs go ;( But if your familiar with visualizing air cells you should be OK.
