Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

It's officially over... Six pea eggs shipped from PA to CA were received last month. All had damaged air cells. Eggs were rested for ~24 hours then set under a chicken hen. Of the six, one had a blood ring, one died late, but the other four hatched with assistance. Of those four, only one had a normal air cell, so I guess it healed?

that's a great hatch for shipped eggs!

wow nice can't wait to see pics how any eggs you got?
8 eggs, the two hat weren't pipped were dead. No clue why.
It's amazing, I seem to have better hatches when I leave the eggs in the incubator with the Turner on. Maybe I'm just using a better incubator with more even temperature dispersal.
Have two ducklings out now!
I went to bed a little while ago...but I think I'm going to go check on my eggs first.

Even the little egg I crushed one side of half way through has pipped right through my red fingernail polish on the egg!
