Hey!

Great job. God is good. Doesn't look bad to me at all I wish I had pictures of mine. Trooper yay!
I did what I could, I couldnt get a hemostat on it to close it, I had to keep it pinched shut and hubs glued at the same time, he wanted to cut off more umbilical but I didnt want it messed tugged or anything of the like at the time, the pup from the first litter was exactly the same, but we wrapped her and ran her for surgery, you cant do that if its open because of the way the belly is stretched and it just opens. it was horrible, vet told us if we cant catch it with a hemo to hold it we may as well euth. but we paid for surgery last time for nothing. So I had a game plan, and the hemo didnt work at all so we did what held it shut long enough to dry that glue, and as you can see we glued the bejims out of it! NEVER EVER care to deal with that again! OMG two times same mom both litters! spay spay spay!

My NPIP testers were out today. My chicken math finally caught up with me. My "hobby" now consists of 142 birds. My husband has been living with these birds for quite awhile now but when he actually heard the number he freaked out. I guess I'll be taking some birds to the flock swap next weekend.

Its funny: I always get the same testers and I see them at the local shows too, they always joke that when somebody tells them that they have 30 birds, they can expect 60 and when we tell them we have about 100, they can expect about 150. I told him that I estimated my flock to be around 100. At least his chicken math is accurate.

That picture is so adorable, Sally. I can almost smell the puppy smell when I look at it. I love that little mug- so cute!

I just saw on the Facebook page of the poultry group that I belong to, somebody had a litter of like 6 black and chocolate lab puppies dumped on their property and they're looking for homes and fosters for them.

I live in a 1600sq ft house with three large dogs, two small children, a cat and wood floors throughout, I can't get a puppy.
