Diatomaceous Earth

Hi

I'm new to BYC and chickens also.

I have found lots of ideas about dust baths and what to put into them: sevin, DE, wood ash, sand, woodshavings, leaves.

What I can't seem to find is info on how much of what to use. Can somebody give me a guess as to how much is too much of any of the above, please?

I would hate to make any of my new chickens sick
