Diatomaceous Earth?

I found an old bag of D.E. Can I still use it for dusting the nesting boxes? I'm not sure how old it is. Less than 10 years old, probably around 5 years old. Does this stuff ever go bad? It's in a plastic bag.

Considering it is made of fossilized remains of millons-of-year-old hard shelled algae, I don't think a couple extra years in the shed will make any difference.
