Diatomatious earth

Has anyone used Diatomatious earth for de-worming chickens?

I've heard that you can use for that.

DE is a great supplement used to inhibit parasites. DE is used by most commercial chicken farmers. I also feed and bath my chickens with it. As well as put it in goat feed. However DE is NOT a wormer. Valbezan is a good wormer in my book.

DE is fine for external bugs like lice and mites but does not work when wet and does not kill internal worms.

There are a number of ways to try to prevent worms using natural methods but if you have a serious problem already then I would use a worming medication.
