I am a new chicken owner , well not quite my chickens arrive in June My husband and I are in the process of building our Coop . I have read differing views as to weather diatromaceous earth should be used and how to use it Some say in there food, others in the dust bath .I would appreciate some advice please.

DE is a waste of money, save yours. It will not prevent or rid lice or mites and it does absolutely nothing for internal parasites.
