No, it was definately a stroke about 2-3 years ago. I remember everyone talking about it then. He was unable to speak for quite a while after it. Thats why he missed a year of doing the countdown. I thought he spoke VERY well tonight!!

He did look good but listening to him talk was sad. I remember him when he was vibrant and lively. Seeing him slur his words - although inspirational for a post-stroke survivor - was disheartening.
