Well, it is up and running. Holding steady at 99.6. I am so thrilled. And Mr. Dickey called to make sure it was working properly.

I bought the Dickey 2x2 unit and so far its a great piece in my collection. Temp and humidity are right on the money. The electronic tstat is super sensitive and perfect! I did have a turner limit switch rattle off and broke during shipping, but Ernest was on top of it asap! I love the fact that its made with real wood, not pressed board or Styrofoam! My little hobby for my kids have now turned into a full business. I bought my first small flock of 25 birds from Myers and now we have about 125 birds which I have built each breed their own indoor/outdoor runs just for my breeding chickens, then we have are "general population free rangers" just for egg and meat birds. This whole operation has kept my children away from tvs, xboxes, ect and now they are teaching there friends and chickens and eggs. Ive had to open both my kids bank acounts and they split their profits 50/50 after I deduct, feed, bedding and misc supplies. Since getting involved we started an LLC and NPIP/AI certified are farm and couldnt ask for a better turn out. I did my research and moved the small bators to the side and fired up the Dickey where we can keep cycling eggs at anytime. No more wait for one bator to hatch then reload. Qudo's to Dickey Incubators.

I have a Dickey 3/1 and have loved it. I have found that at the end of week 2 it usually drops in temp about .4 degrees. It hasn't seemed to bother a hatch,, but wondered if anyone else experience that?
