Dickey?

I understand. I can't stand them in the house more than three days. I moved my bunch to the workhouse and put them in a Christmas tree storage box on wheels that is plastic so I can roll it out and hose it down to clean it. I cut a hole in the top and put hardward cloth that I could set a clamp light on top of. It is working great so far. I have a old wood table it is setting on so it perfect height to walk up to and put food and water in. Then i have three other wood brooder boxes. I have got to clean the largest one out and transfer some older chicks over to it for more room to grow for a few weeks.

Your not keeping those ...right?I think my DH would kill if I had that many chicks in the house LOL I have about 30 up in the attic now and some of those can go outside now but it is way to messy and mucky to try to fix up anything out there.

I have 9 wonderful chicks the 10th didnt make it.3 polish and 6 CMs

Well that was easy, huh? I'm so frustrated with my styro incubators. They're just not performing. Everything went PERFECT this last go around and I have like 5 chicks, if that out of all those eggs. I'm saving up to buy a Dickey, I'm done.

I'm thrilled for your first hatch - great job!!!

And these 150 or so chicks, hopefully most of them will be gone this week. But I am keeping a few--okay, more than a few.

I got the 3 tray with the hatcher. I'm imagining if I use the hatcher that it will be horrible to clean and mess up the other eggs with dander.
What does everyone do? Hatch in a separate hatcher or use the hatching tray?

I use a separate hatcher.
