Did anybody saw a chick like this?

This is chickie.
I'm an avian veterinary.been raising tons of birdies all my life long.
He's living with us inside our house,acting like a little cat,first time one of my birds make such a bond!!!sleeps with us in our bed,eats with us,
Love to sleep next to me and be peted all day,just curious if its like that with most of chicks
He's my little baby now,and our best friend!

That is so sweet! Chickens can make as good pets as parrots, that's for sure!

It seems that every once in a blue moon that there is a wonderful chicken that makes an even better pet than any cat or dog. I have 30 chickens right now, and only a few of them act the way you describe Chickie. One example is our Barred Rock hen, Baby; she lost one of her eyes when she was a couple weeks old, and this just adds to her charm. She loves to be picked up and held, petted, and she expresses her affection for us by rubbing our legs! As bizarre as this is, it's simply the greatest thing ever.

Also, Alexandra, the Golden Campine pullet in my avatar, used to fly onto my arm on command. She would ride around with me while I did chores around the coop and talk to me, very similarly to a parrot. Alex doesn't find it satisfactory to do this anymore, and I really miss it. She's going through an unfriendly phase before she starts laying, but this will pass.

To my Silver Spangled Hamburg, Avalon, I was her world. She would be the first to jump into my hand for attention, and she loved to climb up my arm to get to my shoulder, where she would snuggle and fall asleep. Sadly, since she is the same age as Alex, she is going through an unfriendly phase, too.

That's adorable. Single chicks can particularly form a strong bond. Although I have never raised a single chick, I noticed when I nursed hurt or ill chickens away from the rest of the flock we formed a special bond, and I would feel bad when I had to leave them at home alone for a while.

Chickie is a once in a lifetime. I have never seen anything like that!! You are blessed!! Just started with chickens a few months ago.. My silkie just hatch out nine babies and I have two egg in bator and four in brooder... I can only hope I can get one tenth of Chickie... WOW!!
